3. Five Major Medals in 2024

One of the most interesting facts about Kim Ye-ji is that all her major medals have come this year. She first won silver in the 25-metre pistol event at the 2024 Asian Rifle/Pistol Championships that was held in Indonesia last January. It was then followed by a silver and a gold in the 10-metre air pistol and 25-metre pistol events in Baku last May. Her fourth medal is a bronze n which she won in the 25-metre pistol event last June at the Munich leg of ISSF World Cup in Germany. Her fifth medal is silver from the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On her ISSF profile, she was born September 4, 1992. She took up shooting in 2005 and began competing in 2006. She listed her hobby as sleeping.

Kim Ye-ji has a 5 year old daughter. This explains why she has a stuffed toy of an elephant. She considers it as her lucky charm. According to an interview with South Korean media, she was looking forward to speaking to her daughter after completing all her events.
